SCP Consultants Pte Ltd won the public tender for Nanning Eastern Industrial New City Industrial Development Planning Project in late February 2022. The office of Nanning Eastern Industrial New City hopes to plan the top-level strategy and development path for the New City through cooperation with SCP, to guide the industrial development, promote integrated development of “Port Industry City”, and develop Nanning Eastern Industrial New City into Sea-facing Economic Development Demonstration Park.

The project covers four sections: Analysis of Internal and external conditions of industrial development, industrial development strategy and overall positioning, key industrial development direction and path, and industrial spatial layout and supporting elements. With specific research on key sectors such as macro background (New Western Land-Sea Corridor, Pinglu Navigation Canal, Pan-Beibu Gulf, Nanning Metropolitan Circle), West River Economic Zone, Nantong east and two bay integration, port industry, green chemical industry, etc.

The report will take advantage of the strategic opportunity of the eastern industrial new city development, study its core competitive advantages in the region, and propose a strategic, forward-looking and holistic industrial development direction and implementation path.  The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of June 2022.
