        SCP won tender for Nanyang River-Embracing Development Strategy Research and Beihe Riverfront Urban Design project

        After winning the first round of the Nanyang River-Embracing Development Strategy Research and Beihe Riverfront Urban Design international competition, the consortium formed by SCP Consultants Pte Ltd. and China Communications Urban Planning Research Institute successfully won the second-round design deepening competition with its excellent design recently. 


        In this round, the consortium proposed the design vision “Beihe Bund, Best River”, four strategies – Beauty, Enlighten, Spark and Thriven, to create A New Window for the National Historical and Culture City, A Hosting Place in Henan Emerging Regional Economic Center, A Desirable High-Quality Waterfront Space in Nanyang, and to promote high construction standard of both banks. 


        The expert judging panel accessed the entries based on design concept, spatial structure, industrial development, development and operation model research, landscape, etc. The design plan from SCP Consultants Pte Ltd. and China Communications Urban Planning Research Institute emerges as the winner.

        Baihe is the mother river of Nanyang and a beautiful city card of Nanyang, thousands of Nanyang residents look forward eagerly to the development. Subsequently, SCP will further deepen and improve the plan, to provide planning management and development guidance, and strive to make both banks of Baihe River an influential and attractive internet-famous check-in site in China.
